These checks are carried out at the Surgery by prior appointment with the Doctor. Please make it clear to reception staff when you are booking your appointment as this check takes 20 mins.

Chronic Disease Management

Certain illnesses require a planned follow-up programme and, in line with the Department of Health’s guidelines, we offer full planned care to our patients with asthma, diabetes, heart disease in particular. All the above clinics are nurse-led by our health promotion team.

Contraception Services

Dr Moore specialises in women’s health and contraception and is able to fit all types of coils and contraceptive implants in the surgery. Both for heavy period management and contraception. If you’re thinking of having any of these procedures done or want to discuss a contraceptive/ women’s health issue further then please book an appointment with Dr Moore to discuss further.

Health Visitor 

Part of the starting well service, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.

The nearest drop in (no appointment necessary) clinics are:

  • Every Wednesday 09:30 – 11:00 at Wands Children Centre, Westlands, Droitwich, WR9 9EQ
  • Every Friday 10:00 – 11:30 at Droitwich Medical Centre WR9 8RD.

Also available is the TELEPHONE ADVISORY SERVICE for parents of under 5 year olds. This service is accessed by calling 0300 123 9551, Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm.

Minor Surgery

A number of minor procedures can be carried out at the surgery. Please discuss with your doctor.

Yellow Fever Centre
We are a registered Yellow Fever Centre and offer travel advice.
