For those requesting more than one months supply of medication citing the implications of Coronavirus; please be advised we will be continuing our normal one months supply to ensure fair supply to all patients and to reduce stockpiling of medication.
Due to unprecedented requests for medication and medication stock supply issues we are now asking that you allow 72 hours before collecting your medication. Please ensure you request your repeat prescriptions in good time.
To ensure the safety of our patients and our staff we have implemented some changes to the way you collect your prescriptions. There are now clear signs on the outside of the surgery to guide you to the temporary collection point for prescriptions. Prescriptions can only be collected during 11am-1pm and 4pm-6pm. If you pay for your prescriptions please ensure you can pay via card or with the correct change. We will not be able to provide change at this current time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
For patients concerned that they may have coronavirus or may have come into contact with someone who has, the NHS 111 online service has created coronavirus pages that tell patients what they should do based on their particular circumstances. These can be accessed at: https://111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19
Please access this page BEFORE calling NHS 111.
The NHS and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.
